- Anike Hage’s adaption of Gudrun Pausewangs “Die Wolke” (Tokyopop) won this years Sondermann Award (Manga national)! Congratulations!
- David Füleki’s webcomic “Entoman” won the Sondermann Award. Congratulations!
- Egmont has cancelled two Germanga: Christina Bäumerich’s “Eine ewige Sekunde” won’t be released as well as “Piratebay”, created by Diana Liesaus and Sabrina Ehnert.
- Fireangels will release two new Girls Love books in November: The 4th volume of the Lily anthology will be an artbook by Sarah Adomßent. Further, the publisher releases the first volume of “Töchter der Himmel” by Nadine Wewer (a) and Daniel Kaufmann (s).
- The award presentation ceremony of the annual MangaMagie contest will take place on the 29th of October, 4 pm, Cologne Town Hall.

Tokyopop
- Anike Hage’s Die Wolke won this years AnimaniA Award.
- Tokyopop and David Füleki start Füleki’s new website-project: http://www.manga-madness.de.
- Released Germanga: Hommage an Grimms Manga by Anike Hage, Anna Hollmann, Misaho Kujiradou, Mikiko Ponczeck, Inga Steinmetz, Luisa Velontrova, Nina Werner and Reyhan Yildirim.
Egmont Manga & Anime
- Piratebay by Diana Liesaus (a, Musouka) and Sabrina Ehnert (s) has been removed from Egmont’s website.
- The release of the 3rd volume of Viviane’s (a) and Bruno Cotting’s (s) Gott Gauss has been rescheduled. A new release date has not yet been announced.
Carlsen Manga
- Carlsen published a Manga-App, including selected Germanga content.
- Released Germanga: Royal Lip Service by Marika Paul, Odessa Twins by Stefan Brönneke (s), Twintime, Tamasaburo (a).
- The release of Zofia Garden’s Killing Iago volume 3 has been rescheduled to September 29th.
- Daisuki 7/2011 containt the short Manga Feed me poison - Der Auftrag by the Evelyne Bösch from Switzerland. It was announced that we will be seeing more form Bösch in the future.
Fireangels Verlag
- Fireangels presents cover and content of the 4th volume of the Lemon Law anthology, which will be released at this years Connichi in September. It includes the following Manga: China Blue Ch. 1.2 by SlippedDee (a), Anne Delseit (s) & Sai Nan (s), Mein Mitbewohner aus der Hölle by Kumi (a) and Anne Delseit (s), Coined Part 2 by Ealynn, Emerald Rising Ch. 2 by MaRcilious, Daily Heroes Ch. 2 by Sia.

Today, the programm of the Leipzig Bookfair 2011 was announced on Leipzig-liest.de.
